Convict Lake - Original Gouache Painting

This painting is one of the original gouache paintings.

On my visit to Mammoth Lakes, Convict Lake felt like a little world tucked in the middle of a vast landscape. The fall colors surrounding it were breathtaking, and the lake was so clear that you could see every stone beneath the water.

This painting is my attempt to capture those little details that made the moment so special. You can actually feel the stones beneath the water, the mountains standing tall around it, and the clouds above, all brought to life through texture.
